ProspectTube.com is the only site on the web dedicated solely to videos of baseball prospects worldwide.
With few minor league teams having television contracts, and limited coverage of college, international, and high school baseball, accessing video clips of prospects can be an arduous task. Yet, with ESPN's recent decision to cover the MLB Draft, expanded College World Series coverage, teams like the Boston Red Sox and Tampa Bay Rays relying on youth to succeed, and a growing number of fantasy baseball leagues now incorporating the minor leagues into their annual draft process, global interest in baseball prospects has never been higher. This info, combined with the relative ease in shooting and uploading video clips, brought me to the conclusion that a one-stop shop for all your prospect video needs was long overdue. Hence, I bring you ProspectTube.com, a place where it's actually cool to hang out and scout your favorite players, no matter what your girlfriend or wife says.

I'm just the guy who started this site. Over the past decade, I've worked in the computer software industry, insurance industry, and most recently as a professional poker player across the other side of the pond in London, UK. So what lead me to ProspectTube.com? Quite simply, I have a passion for baseball, and more specifically, baseball prospects. I've spent nearly 30 years of my life between the lines playing the game, and most recently, watching, reading, and writing about baseball prospects and roto baseball. After a few frustrating hours of unsuccessfully searching for video clips of the "next big thing," I decided to provide my own solution to the problem and launch ProspectTube.com. It's a hobby, I enjoy every minute of it, and will take it as far as it allows me to.
So, what are the long-term goals for this site? First, I want ProspectTube.com to be the preeminent destination for baseball prospect video clips online. Whether you're looking for a AAA pitcher in Pawtucket, or a high school shortstop in Palm Springs, ProspectTube.com will hopefully meet your needs. Also, as the video quality improves over time, I envision a scouting community growing within the ProspectTube network. Who knows, one day we may be able to boast about a ProspectTube member entering the world of professional scouting. Beyond that, I'd like see it grow organically and put it's fate in the hands of you, the ProspectTube community. You tell me, what do you want to see?
